Genre is like the template of a project. Knowing what genre to use is a good practice. There are so many genres available such as fiction, non fiction, travel notes, biography, tech description, lab report, fund raising, so on. Choosing the right genre can help the writing becoming more appealing.

Throughout the semester, we have done many genre analysis. It not only help us learn what other writer’s point of views, what could have been done better, it also help us to learn from those sample readings.
